Human Rights at Sea’s Founder (2013-2023) and now Human Rights at Sea International’s Executive Director, David has worked for four years with the family, state authorities, international lawyers, and a team of international consultants to conduct an investigative review of Eritara’s case and promote the case through international advocacy. Relying on his previous role as an English Barrister (Counsel), David hopes that ratification of soft-law developments like the Geneva Declaration for Human Rights at Sea, as well as dedicated management measures through Regional Fisheries Management Organisations will better protect observers in the future.
